To carry out these activities in these projects, Action Pour la Renaissance intends to Collect, evacuate solid and liquid household waste to the dumping sites previously set up by it in Goma, recycle and transform solid and liquid managerial waste for reuse. (In the medium term).
This activity will be accompanied by door-to-door sensitization sessions in churches, markets and other public places on the rules of hygiene in relation to the proper conservation and treatment of waste at home but also on other risky practices in reference to the routes of transmission of diseases. Emphasis will be placed on changing behaviors and practices to prevent WASH-related diseases. The impacts of poor household waste management are multiple and were identified during the assessment
The scope is to reach all the beneficiary population in the 18 districts of the city of Goma with a vision for the contry D.R.Congo in general in large cities where there is urgency but lack of funding we are blocked.
The objective is to contribute to the sustainable improvement of sanitation, hygiene and health conditions of the populations and subsequently of their living conditions as well as their urban environment by ensuring the management of the whole household waste sector in the districts of the city of Goma:

Collection itself is Collection, evacuation, dumping
Treatment and recovery is Selection, valorization, elimination of non valorized waste

The project will contribute to the creation of jobs for the fight against hunger; it will also fight against contagious and tropical diseases; contributes to the policy of the province to make the city clean; on the industry it is in the transformation of biodegradable waste into fertilizer and in the production of ember for the fight against deforestation.
The risk is the insecurity or the pandemic crisis in COVID-19. The strategies are to wait for the provincial government to restore peace in case it happens. The respect of the barrier measures and instructions of the government for the fight against the propagation of the disease.
No risk incurred in case of change of authorities because the law on the public private partnership in force in our country recognizes the partnership engages the institution not an individual.
